Paola is a bi-lingual Italian native and English speaker with more than 25 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, who served as a close partner to different businesses in Europe and in the United States. She had the opportunity to live in three continents (Europe, Africa and America), therefore had the privilege to learn about different cultures both personally and professionally. Because of her curiosity for the humanities in the early years of her life, she realized she has a very strong passion for people.
She started her professional career with General Electric in one of her hometowns, Milan, Italy. After 11 years at General Electric in different locations in Europe she moved to the States and worked as a Lead HR for different global companies with businesses in Kuala Lumpur, Europe, South America, Canada and Pakistan.
Her focus has always been to improve staff commitment and engagement to contribute to the company’s success. She is considered by former leaders and reports as a highly skilled professional with integrity, ethical moral principles and vibrant energy to get things done. Her professional experience include executive level management, change management, employee engagement, organizational redesign, strategic talent management, training/employee development and employee relations.
She currently serves as a pro-bono consultant and as Secretary of the Board for Women of Valor.
Paola’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Speech and Mass Media from Houston Christian University, and a certificate in Leadership Development from the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University.

Paola loves cooking, biking, reading, movies and her dogs.
On top of being very passionate about HR, I love boating ( I am so lucky I live in Annapolis, MD) biking, reading, cooking, and my two mutts, Sophie and Maya.
